Contenu et modalités d'enseignement:
This course is designed to help students develop the language and communication skills necessary to confidently present themselves and their creative work in professional and academic contexts. Through a combination of oral and written exercises, students will learn to articulate their artistic vision, describe their creative process, and engage critically with the work of others.

The emphasis will be on oral presentation, with students practicing how to speak clearly and persuasively about:

--Their own artistic projects and portfolios
--Their CVs and professional experiences
--The work of other artists, designers, and creators

Students will also work on key written formats such as:

--CVs and artist statements
--Motivation letters and application materials
--Short written presentations to accompany visual work

The classroom environment will be supportive and interactive, encouraging students to experiment with language, refine their self-expression, and develop a personal voice in English that reflects their artistic identity.

Savoir-faire et connaissance acquise:
By the end of the course, students will be able to:

--Communicate more effectively in English about their artistic work, both orally and in writing
--Structure and deliver short presentations with clarity, coherence, and appropriate vocabulary
--Use visual aids strategically to support spoken presentations
--Write professional documents such as CVs, motivation letters, and applications tailored to artistic contexts
--Engage critically and respectfully with the work of peers and established creators
--Develop strategies to manage performance anxiety and speak with greater confidence in public settings
--Expand their professional English vocabulary, especially in relation to art, design, and creative industries

Evaluation will be based on

--continouous assessment,
--presentations on front of the class,
--written assignments
