We will create a safe, inclusive and welcoming space where students can come with topics, questions, and experiences to share and talk about with one another, guided by the teacher. There will be no taboos nor judgment; we will strive to build an open-minded atmosphere in which we consider the perspective of others and provide empathy and support. Method Open conversation between teacher and students, occasional written work and short presentations. Outcome The aim is for students to become more at ease with fluid, conversational English while feeling comfortable in a peer environment where they can be themselves and perhaps discover that they're not so alone in their thoughts and experiences.
